Halloween is right around the corner, and today, Evie and I decided to jazz up some white plastic pumpkins we got at Target with some gold sequins and chunky gold glitter!  This idea (and SO many more!) is included in my new Halloween Celebration Guide!

For this project, you will need…

(affiliate links to follow)

Make glue blobs on the pumpkin and sprinkle sequins and chunky glitter on the glue.  You can do this in a pattern, completely random, various sizes…you choose!  That is the beauty of a DIY project!  Also…if you don’t like how it looks, the Elmer’s glue on the smooth plastic pumpkin is super simple to wipe off and start again.

*You could also do this on real pumpkins! They just can’t repurpose them for years to come.

Our finished pumpkins!  To be honest, Evie did most of the work.  I squeezed the glue on and she sprinkled away.  She loved being able to participate, and I know she is going to be SO excited to see these year after year and remember the fun we had making them together!
You could do this same technique on orange pumpkins with black glitter, or keep the white pumpkins, but use all different glitter colors.  How beautiful would a mix of rose gold be for Fall??
