The main event is here! Holiday party season has arrived and we are in full swing when it comes to hosting and being a guest. Now, I wish my life was only consumed with the parties I get to host and attend…but I also have kids to keep alive, a house to decorate, meals to cook, a business to run, and memories to make. The last thing I EVER remember as I’m running out the door…a hostess gift. That means I’m often running to the grocery store for the bottle of wine to tie a tag to. Anyone else??
This year is going to be different. I’m planning ahead, I’m grabbing multiple hostess gifts, and am going to have them wrapped and ready to go for those parties that’ll be here before we know it. Yes, this is going to take a little extra time. But the stress and peace of mind it will give me knowing at least one thing on my laundry list of things to do is TOTALLY worth it!
Below are my top 15 favorite hostess gifts. These are affordable, easy to grab and wrap, are good for a variety of different people with different tastes…and you’ll want to keep them all for yourself. Like I actually want to keep all of these! Who knows, maybe it’ll spark some ideas for your own Christmas lists!

1. Tea Towels and Serving Spoons
I like to tie a ribbon around the tea towels and place the servers in the middle. It makes a cute little bundle and is easy wrapping! Tie on a thank you tag and you are good to go, girlfriend!
2. Marble Coasters
This marble coaster set is really beautiful and a great price! Might want to grab a couple of these sets!
3. Your Favorite Cookbook
Cravings, the OG cookbook by Chrissy Teigen is life changing. I’m not being dramatic, I really mean that. The coconut rice. I can’t even. So when Queen Chrissy released the follow up, Cravings: Hungry for More…let’s just say it was preordered months in advance! I love giving cookbooks to my hostess and I’ll put a sticky note on my favorite recipes or ones I think they may like! It’s just a fun way to share with a fellow foodie.
4. Five Minute Journal
This is sort of an unexpected gift, but something that is special and an intentional way for your loved one to start their day. The Five Minute Journal focuses on gratitude and positivity…the gift that keeps on giving!
5. A Beautiful Throw Blanket
A reminder for the host to curl up and relax after the beautiful gathering they hosted for you and your loved ones! I love throw blankets and feel like I can never have enough!
6. Homemade Granola
As a mom, breakfast is my most stressful time of the day. It’s rushed and I almost never get to eat. When I have granola in the house, it’s like a relief because it’s fast, healthy and easy to eat! I make a big batch during the holidays, fill big mason jars with it, and tie it with a tag! Super easy grab and go gifts for hostesses, but also people you want (but often forget) to thank- like the mailman, neighbors, teachers, etc.
7. A New Mug and Your Favorite Coffee
I’m mug obsessed. My husband HATES this obsession. He’s constantly telling me to get rid of some and then I bring more. I just love cozying up with a cup of hot coffee in a cute mug! It makes my day happier and that’ll always be a win. I like giving local coffee with the mug, but if you’re short on time, head on over to Starbucks and get a holiday blend!
8. Kitchen Counter Herb Garden
Get a cute little planter box and choose 3 different herbs to plant in it. FYI- Trader Joes has awesome prices on planted herbs (they also often have these already made up!).
9. Bath Salts and a Sheet Mask
We all know being a host is a tough job! Gift your hostess with some pampering with some luxurious bath salts and a fun sheet mask! These also make perfect stocking stuffers for the ladies in your life!
10. Seed Bombs
Seed bombs are a super creative but really fun gift! It’s also a great activity to do with your kids! Make a big batch of seed bombs, place a couple in a cello bag, and tie with a cute thank you tag. You can write the instructions for what to do with the bomb on the back of the tag.
